Tree Magic Charms

To Cure
Tie a red string around the patient’s neck just before he or she retires for the night. In the morning, immediately untie the string and retie it around a tree trunk or branch, transferring the sickness to the tree. The tree will send it down to the earth. Be sure to leave an offering of thanks at the base of the tree.

To break a bad habit
Make a picture of yourself or the bad habit on a leaf or piece of bark. Take it to a proper tree and bury it at its roots. Place an offering to the tree in the hole with the leaf or bark and cover it up. Pour some water onto the spot and it is done.

To regain lost energy - This is one of my favorites
Sit with your back pressed against the tree trunk and let the tree’s limitless energy flow into you. Very excellent if you have been walking or hiking long distances.
